MMH is pleased to welcome Brooke VanMeter, a Hampshire County native, who will be assisting with referrals, billing & operations.  Brooke worked as a Radiology/Mammography Technologist for  15 years.  She obtained a RBA from WVU of Parkersburg and worked as a long-term substitute teacher in the school system.  She has experience in banking as well as working with a former human service organization in the area and enjoys spending time with her family and participating in her church praise & worship band.

MMH is beyond elated to welcome Ralph, a 2-year-old Yorkie-Poo, to our support team. Like many, Ralph had a difficult start in life-experiencing neglect and abandonment, but has found his forever home with our therapist, Madison. He enjoys greeting our clients and comforting them through difficult moments.  It is true that good things come in small packages.  Weighing in at only 7lbs, the smallest member of our team packs a powerful therapeutic punch as his absence is clearly noted on days he does not join us.

Heidi Fields, a Licensed Professional Counselor & a lifelong Hampshire County resident, along with a great team, started MMH to meet the need for home, school & community-based counseling in the area.  Heidi has over 20 years of experience in the mental health field and provides limited direct counseling services at this time with adults as she has availability.  She is a volunteer with the Red Cross Services to the Armed Forces Division facilitating Resiliency & Reconnection Workshops with US Veterans, Active-Duty Personnel & their families.

Jacque O’Neil has 20 years  of experience in the counseling field with an emphasis on treating substance abuse disorders.  She is a West Virginia Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (AADC) as well as a Certified Trauma Professional.  She graduated summa cum laude with a graduate degree in School Counseling at Frostburg State University. Currently, she is overseeing MMH's Substance Abuse Treatment & Support Programs and Services, supervising SA staff and provides individual, group and family therapy with clients.

Madison Fields, a lifelong Hampshire County resident, graduated from WVU and Liberty University and is a WV Licensed Professional Counselor.  She worked previously in youth corrections before joining and helping to establish MMH.  Madison works with adults and adolescents and has certifications in *EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) & *Perinatal Mental Health as well as training and experience in trauma focused care. *See Specializations Tab for more Information

Keith Ackerman, a native of Mineral County, served in & was Honorably Discharged from the US Army Reserve.  He had a career in the WV Regional Jail System for over 17 years as an Officer, Counselor & Director of Inmate Services.  He was a WV Supreme Court Probation Officer for specialized offenders for 8 years before joining & helping to establish MMH.  Keith earned undergrad & graduate degrees from Fairmont State College & WVU and enjoys assisting children & adults suffering with difficulties so they can feel improvement in how they view themselves & manage their lives.

MMH is pleased to welcome new therapist--Gracie McDonald.  Gracie earned an MS in Psychology from Purdue University Global following an undergrad in Psychology from Radford University.  Her background and experience include inpatient psychiatric as well as working with young children and she will be working with children, teens & adults in homes, schools & the community.  She grew up on a family farm in Virginia, participating in 4H and FFA.  In her free time enjoys reading, hiking, riding horses or simply enjoying life with her family.

Taylor Titus, a resident of Hardy County, obtained a graduate degree in Substance Abuse Counseling from Liberty University where she graduated with honors.  She enjoys working with those in recovery in all phases  from active addiction through maintaining sobriety. Taylor is working with youth & adult clients who struggle with substance abuse as well as mental health challenges. Taylor is seeking her Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (AADC) certification and is thrilled to serve her community as well as be a part of the MMH Team! 

Cheryl Healy, a Hampshire County native served children & adolescents in WV for over 20 years.  She received a Bachelor’s degree from WVU & Master’s degree from Liberty University.  Cheryl is a Certified Child & Adolescent Trauma Professional. Cheryl took on a role in Service & Operations Admin with MMH just prior to her family's relocation to Nevada which allows her to work from home across the country still collaborating to support staff & service operations in her true home of WV.

Peyton Duncan, a Hampshire County native, has recently joined MMH as an Office Assistant. She will be assisting with referrals and supporting our office admin & operations. Peyton is attending Potomac State College of WVU majoring in nursing. She plans to obtain a BSN/RN and work in Neonatal Intensive Care. Peyton enjoys reading, working on hot rods, and spending time with her fiancé, family and her puppy Nellie. 

 Tori Weasenforth-Myers, a Grant County native, earned a Master’s degree from Liberty University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a National Certified and Provisionally Licensed Counselor. She has five years of experience in the mental health field and created a business in honor of a loved one who died by suicide, called Take Care Company, which promotes awareness and prevention through her hand-drawn designs. Tori is honored to be part of the MMH team and to be able to provide services to youth in and near her hometown.
