Begins with a comprehensive assessment to establish symptom history, severity & difficulties in functioning; identifies diagnosis; and makes treatment recommendations while getting to know & better understand you, your strengths & challenges.
If admitted to services following intake, service planning identifies and prioritizes goals and objectives to support success in your journey providing recommendations for additional/other services and evaluation as necessary.
Referral, linkage, advocacy and support to access other services may be offered or recommended at intake or as needed thereafter as an adjunct or alternative to MMH services.
Individual and family therapy helps improve coping & communication and resolve conflicts between family members. Therapy builds on existing strengths and provides the necessary tools to manage the stresses of everyday life.
School based mental health counseling services are provided to identified students with the intent to improve coping, relational, and communication skills while decreasing emotional, behavioral, and trauma symptoms.
May occur within our office which includes individual, play & family therapy rooms or at designated places within the community such as our partnership in women's recovery where individual & group therapy is held on location at an area peer recovery home.
